About Us

Dr. Buddy Corbin is our Pastor-in-the-Interim.  He's a familiar face and friend of First Baptist and has come to partner with our church during this time of transition.  His primary interests relate to worship, Bible study, and pastoral care.  He's a retired Baptist pastor and hospital chaplain.  He's a graduate or North Georgia College, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Drew University.  Buddy and his wife, Frances, have been married for 54 years and have three sons and seven perfect grandchildren.  He lives in Weaverville, North Carolina.
